Many new-build properties have fantastic but terribly unforgiving windows and glass doors out to tiny spaces which mean everything will be seen almost all the time. I rather perversely enjoy this challenge! This very small square plot was transformed by a curved sandstone and gravel detail with grasses and perennials to add movement and interest to the space when viewed from both outside and in, and also from above!
