I call this an oasis because that it what this garden became during lockdown. Although complete novices, the clients found a wonderful sanctuary in gardening and kept it immaculate. A curved path leads, as if unfurling, to a circular patio in the sunniest part of the garden. Box hedging, ornamental grasses and a simple pallet of perennials are set off by this immaculately tended lawn. Steps up from the living room were created to open up the house to the garden and a path flanked by bee and butterfly-filled lavender hedges.
